Do you want 2013 to be a better year for you than 2012? But what’s your plan to make it happen?
There’s no point cruising through the New Year without making a plan to improve things in the coming 12 months.
My business mentor for the last 18 years taught me this way back in the early days of our business relationship and he reminds me every year to do it.
However, although I welcome his continued interest in me, I don’t need reminding because I recognise the added value benefit and so I do it every year during the Christmas – New Year break.
If I do this, you should certainly give it consideration.
Because it really works.
These first few 10 days of January are perfect. Once the business New Year kicks in properly then it will be ‘business as usual’ and you’ll be taken over by the ‘same old same old’. Weeks then months will fly past and you will be not one-step closer to your goals.
Make a start now because it doesn’t happen by accident.
How many £1k projects do you have in the pipeline?
How many £3k projects?
How many £5k projects?
How many £10k projects?
£25K? £50k? £100k? Higher?
Write them all down and add them up. I think the answer may be sobering (hopefully it’s not zero) The point of this is to get you out of ‘ wish list’ mode and into ‘definite plan’ mode.
I’m not preaching something I’m not doing myself.
If the total is not high enough then I need to plant some more seeds.
