This Is What My LinkedIn Business Networking Growth Action Plan Looked Like

Mission:

To get 30,000 linkedin profile business members to connect with me as 1st level linkedin connections.

Mission Reason:

Having 30,000 new & current global linkedin profile connections will help my clients achieve faster & sustainable long term business growth via linkedin and other routes to market.

Time Frame:

12 months – 365 Days.

Objectives:

1: Get 120 genuine top quality client & business associate recommendations posted on my LinkedIn profile page.

2: Achieve a first page listing on the LinkedIn advanced search positions from 150 million members for the following 7 key words & key phrases…

I. Security Director

II. Security Consultant

III. Security Expert

IV. Security

V. Business Growth Specialist

VI. Business Development Director

VII. Business Consultant

 

3: Ensure I maintain a percentage ratio of linkedin profile connections, i.e.

I. 50% of my linkedin connections have 500 or more linkedin profile connections.

II. 35% of my linkedin connections have 100 to 500 linkedin profile connections.

III. 15% of my linkedin connections have less than 100 linkedin profile connections.

 

4: Ensure I have linkedin connections in over 150 countries.

 

5: Only connect with linkedin people who would bring added value to my network & whose network I could add value to.

 

Linkedin Experts Marketing Strategies:

a. Research and Identify relevant search engine key words & phrases on linkedin blogs, linkedin articles, linkedin news bulletins and linkedin reports which highlight linkedin tips about how to really use linkedin.

b. Read as much about LinkedIn as possible in the press, talent linkedin & linkedin experts discussions.

c. Identify & connect with 5 top helpful LI linkedin experts and linkedin power networkers.

d. Write a truly outstanding 100% complete linkedin profile page.

e. Join 50 LI Groups and as many linkedin blogs as possible.

f. Post weekly informative discussions in the talent linkedin group’s linkedin articles post facility.

g. Write key word/phrase rich scripts for search engine optimisation and for in my Linkedin blog.

h. Pick out several aggressive & proactive power networkers and linkedin experts at different levels of linkedin profile connections, i.e. 5 who had 5,000, 5 who had 10,000, 5 who had 15,000 and 5 who had 20,000+ and use them as ‘Chasers’. My goal was to chase & overtake each of these for my number of linkedin connections.

i. Ask my previous & current clients to write and post recommendations for me on my linkedin profile page.

j. Help other linkedin experts and linkedin profile members with marketing & script writing advice.

k. Constantly change/modify the info in my linkedin profile and change my linkedin tips and linkedin news blast updates every couple of weeks.

l. Help linkedin members with business growth advice and linkedin reports about how to use linkedin.

m. Post a twice-daily invitation to connect thread on the top open networker group discussions.

n. Form two of my own linkedin groups with a relevant linkedin blog discussion thread.

o. Identify 100 other proactive linkedin Power networkers and have them join my elite talent linkedin and linkedin experts power networking marketing ‘HIT LIST.’

p. Help new linkedin members navigate around the LI system so they can use linkedin more practically.

q. Promote my linkedin profile as my primary marketing strategy.

r. Ask other linkedin experts and power networkers for ‘Mission Specific’ linkedin profile connections growth advice.

s. Monthly overall project critique & assessment of my linkedin profile, linkedin blogs, linkedin articles, linkedin news, linkedin reports and linkedin tips.

t. Adopt the mind-set of the most professional linkedin experts and give 90% & expect 10% in return on all linkedin aspects.

Key Performance Indicators:

I. Daily, weekly & monthly invitation/ linkedin profile connection targets.

II. 7 Key word & key phrase search engine optimisation SEO weekly linkedin target checks.

III. linkedin advanced search positioning weekly target checks.

Linkedin Mission Hurdles:

I. LinkedIn account suspensions for inadvertent LI policy breaches.

II. Time constraints for researching prospective linkedin profile connections and for writing linkedin articles, linkedin news, linkedin reports and linkedin tips on how to use linkedin.

III. Huge increase in daily e-mails, 600+ per day, every day.

IV. Significant increase in e-mail spam on a daily basis from linkedin blogs and other external blogs.

V. Being overwhelmed. Which was consistent with what most other talent linkedin specialists and linkedin experts had advised me about.

Linkedin Mission Goals:

I. Achieve the LinkedIn mission ahead of time.

II. Learn as much as possible about the inner workings of LinkedIn.

III. Master how to use LinkedIn to be able to teach others how to best use linkedin.

I. Linkedin Mission complete: evaluation & operational de-brief.

II. Linkedin Mission success or failure depends upon 2 aspects.

 

1: Did I get to 30,000 LI 1st level connections? YES.

2: Did I achieve mission success in 365 days? YES, in fact ahead of schedule.
