My Top 10 Business Growth Secrets To Help Raise Your LinkedIn Profile

1. Finish your LinkedIn profile page to 100% completion. Use LinkedIn regularly & include a photograph.

2. Lavish key words/phrases into every one of your LinkedIn profile & job description scripts.

3. Use 50% of your invitations to connect with others who have more than 500 first level LinkedIn connections.

4. Sign up to a minimum of 45 of the 50 LinkedIn groups available to you & post a sales or marketing message once a week on every group posting.

5. Ensure you have a minimum of 3 LinkedIn profile recommendations listed on your profile page. If you do, you are 3 times more likely to be found via the LinkedIn profile search listings.

6. Use every one of your 3,000 LinkedIn profile invitations wisely that LinkedIn give you.

7. Change & add a new short Update posting at the top of your LinkedIn profile page at least once a week.

8. Use the LinkedIn Advanced Search Facility to connect with people from your industry sector.

9. Once you’ve reached 500 LinkedIn profile connections join the Black Belt POWER Networkers group.

10. Hire in a LinkedIn marketing specialist consultant to write everything for your profile.

Tough Talk

If you want to go business hunting for leads, referrals & new opportunities, then you have to ensure you have the best hunting tactics and that your hunting tools are much sharper and more effective than your competitors.

Everything starts with nailing the basics on your Linkedin profile. Fail to action these basic principles and you are effectively driving all of your new prospective clients & customers into the open arms of your business competitors.

Tool Tip

At the very least you should be adding new or fresh content to your Linkedin profile at least once a year. Early January is a great time to action this. Make sure you keep a regular back up of all the information contained in your Linkedin profile.

Murphy’s Law. Which dictates…’what can go wrong – will go wrong’. I’ve lost my Linkedin profile data twice due to Linkedin technical problems. If it’s securely backed up, it’s a pretty painless procedure to cut and paste it back in.
