Beefing up your LinkedIn profile can have a huge advantage when it comes to linking with new potential customers. Syncing your blog posts with your LinkedIn profile allows you to share the link, title and post with your connections.

Any PowerPoint presentations that have been created, that give details about your business and what it does can be shared via SlideShare, giving your connections key information that can help them decide which service and products they prefer. If you are going to an event you can promote your profile to show the people who are going, who you are and possibly get more people to attend your speech.

Integrating tweets with LinkedIn is a great way to show your online presence on other social media platforms if any of your Twitter followers are on LinkedIn they may connect to you growing your LinkedIn presence. Recommendations are not only great for people who view your profile but they also help with the completion of your profile this will help you when people search for you as profile completion is a key part of the algorithm for searches.

LinkedIn groups can help your marketing strategy by connecting with groups and joining in discussions you can receive great advice on how to manage a marketing strategy on LinkedIn. Company pages are useful as they show other businesses that work in the same sector as you giving you a chance to check out the competition or reach out to other companies for business opportunities, by adding a link to your website on your company page it will give your connections a chance to check out your webpage not only increasing your views but possibly how well you rank in an SEO search.
