How LinkedIn Recommendations Increase Buyer Confidence & Generate A New Revenue Stream For Your Business

Visit any online shopping website like Amazon or EBay for example, and you’ll quickly identify the most popular products are the ones with a large number of recommendation reviews.

It used to be that business people only bought from people they personally knew, liked or trusted. However Linkedin keeps moving the goal posts as they continue their global growth with wild-fire proportions.

Now the buying concept has had to move with the goal posts. Linkedin members feel their ‘know, like & trust’ needs are met through their online interaction with their first level business connections.

Many business decision makers are increasingly purchasing from someone based on the credibility of their Linkedin profile.

Picture this:

A potential business buyer is ‘Talent Spotting’ or ‘Headhunting’ your profile and likes what they see. However they can’t make their mind up between you and your main competitor/s. If you have several more outstanding recommendations from reliable sources than your rival competitors, it’s a ‘no brainer’ who gets the contract.

Instinctive flock syndrome follows and people the world over tend to follow the flock. If a buyer is inspired by your recommendations and can identify you have lots of happy clients and customers, they are more receptive to becoming one too.

Linkedin offers every member the opportunity to capitalise on what’s called ‘Reputation Marketing.’ To leverage this, you have to be far more proactive. Press your existing and prior clients & customers to write and post a genuine recommendation for your marketing profile.

It is ESSENTIAL for maintaining a healthy client base.
