10 Tips to get MORE VIEWS

Many people on Linked In are putting in a lot of effort to get more connections, which has merit.

More connections, means that more people will see your profile.

If they like what they see and have an interest in what you do, there may be scope for business.

More connections also means that you have a wider network to reach out to.

If you have a “welcome to connect” message in your title, more views will quickly lead to more connections, and the cycle accelerates.

Your network and the usefulness of Linked In as a tool for your business will grow.

Adding connections is important, getting more views, especially more quality views, where people take a moment to learn about you and your business is probably what people are really after.

As of today, my ranking is well within the top 10% of my connections, but I recognize there is scope for and benefit from improvement, so I asked some people in the top 1%, what they suggest.

Hello Helmut,

Here are the tips for you:

****Tips to get more views
1-Always send a invitation when somebody visit your profile
2-Add several keywords in the interest section (e.g. BigData, Data science, Data mining, etc.)
3-Add your interest to be part in a networking group in your title (e.g. All invites, Lion, open networking,etc.)
4-Be part of very active group (those that have several post per day
5-Always send a thank you email after e new contact (your network will keep in touch with you)
6-Visit 2nd and 3rd contacts of your contacts (those that have endorsed you)
7-Share and participate on a regular basis on your groups
8-Share or even better, post on Pulse publications showing your interest, skills, etc.
9-Post the publications of your best contacts (those witch whom you exchange on a regular basis)
10-Change your profile often (Your posts, your blog, add picture of your work, etc.)
